npotaleThe residue left in the still from the first distillation of fermented wash in the manufacture of whisky. It contains a little lactic acid, which can be recovered and utilized in connection with dyeing processes.
I would recommend a little mixed potale from an early period, and increase it, so as to render them accustomed to the slop gradually.
