endoplasticaA higher group of the Protozoa, conveniently distinguished from the Monera or lower Protozoa by the possession of an endoplast, the so-called nucleus. See extract under endoplast, and moner. The leading divisions of the Endoplastica, as named by Huxley, are the Amæboidea (here called Protoplasta), Gregarinida, Infusoria, Radiolaria, and probably the Catallacta.
